We cross the western districts ofParis and take theNormandy motorway as far asCaen (arrival around 10.15 AM). We stop at the Caen Memorial museum (known as thePeaceMuseum) for a commented visit and film followed by lunch. After lunch we depart for the landing beaches with a stop at both the Pointe du Hoc and the American cemetery Saint- Laurent atOmahaBeach for 1 hour. We make a stop at Arromanches. Continue to the close vicinity of the Canadian Memorial of Juno Beach (short photo stop). Return toParis : 9.00 PM.
