When The Jewel Dunn's River Beach Resort & Spa burst onto the scene a few years ago, it instantly garnered accolades from travel agents, who gave it high marks for its amenities, interior design and attention to detail. The Jewel Dunn's River Beach Resort & Spa offers a premium vacation experience for adults-only. While much of the resort amenities are couples-centric, singles alone or in groups love the resort. It’s a great choice for honeymoons, weddings and incentive groups.

The resort prides itself on a number of Jewel-exclusives that elevates the guest experience. The resort’s signature cocktails are called the Gem of the Day. Every day sees a new Gem, and on Fridays it is rumored that the drink is made with special over-proof rum. The resort’s friendly pool concierge will bring guests skewers of fresh fruit, a cooling mist of eucalyptus-infused water or ice-cold face towels regardless of where they are ­- even if they're in the middle of the pool. On some nights, The Jewel screens dive-in movies. Guests are invited to enjoy romantic films poolside while snacking on delicious treats like Jamaican Jerk popcorn. And once a week, guests will be treated to a five-course candlelit meal served on the pier underneath the glowing Jamaican moon.

The Jewel Dunn’s River has two pools, tennis courts, a 9-hole pitch and put course, non-motorized watercraft rentals, PADI certified SCUBA instructors, the Bling! Nightclub and a number of well-maintained gardens for enjoying a serene moment. Elsewhere on The Jewel's property, guests can relax at the Radiant Spa, which offers traditional massages and revitalizing treatments. The full service spa has seven treatment rooms, whirlpool, sauna, locker rooms and a menu of services from facial to full body service.

The Jewel Dunn’s River has seven room categories based on size, view and services. This variety of room layouts gives guests plenty of choices. The categories are Premier Guest Room, Emerald Lanai, Sapphire Mountain View, Sapphire Ocean View, Diamond Ocean View Concierge, 1-Bedroom Ocean View Butler Suite and Honeymoon Haven 1-Bedroom Ocean Front Butler Suite.

All of the resort’s guest rooms have a dramatic 4-poster king bed with elegant Colonial décor and tiled floors. Internet access is wired and available for a modest fee, and complimentary in select room categories. The mini-bar is stocked and replenished with water, soda, juices and coffee/tea service. Nightly turndown service is included. Some rooms feature a balcony that offers views of either the stunning mountains surrounding Ocho Rios or the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea.

The top category Honeymoon Haven 1-Bedroom Ocean Front Butler Suite measure 855 square feet. Here your clients will receive over-the-top pampering with their own personal butler, magnificent 4-poster canopied king bed, oversized bath, premium liquor package, complimentary wired internet access and stunning ocean vistas.

The 2-story Emerald Lanais are set in a garden; the intimacy provided by these buildings is perfect for friends traveling together or for the wedding party.

Outside of the guest rooms, visitors will be treated to great food and nonstop entertainment. The Jewel has six restaurants, with each serving a different type of cuisine, from traditional Jamaican cooking to delicately prepared Japanese dishes. The Jewel's masterful chefs will tempt taste buds with bold new flavors and seasonal dishes. The all-inclusive Jamaica resort also features six bars serving refreshing drinks.

Convenient off-resort tours and activities conveniently located nearby including Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Chukka Caribbean Adventure Tours, Ocho Rios Shopping, Fern Gully and Margaritaville can be purchased at Jewel’s on-site tours and activities desk. 

Guests receive complimentary transportation from Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport, approximately a 90-minute drive. There’s also complimentary parking at the resort.
